Abstract (EN)
Balkan Naci İslimyeli is one of the first names that come to mind in the area of modern Turkish Art. A lot has been said and discussed about his art and his work, his writings and discourses have been the topic of many researches. Alongside all these researches, with our thesis, we tried to show what sorts of meanings Balkan Naci İslimyeli?s work of art could show under the light of a psychoanalytical reading.We tried to create a psychoanalytical analysis model through examining Pentimentolar, Deli Gömleği, Suret, Déjà Vu and Makas-Psikolaj; works he has created between 1984-2008.
