Abstract (EN)

Aim: To evaluate the correlation of LMWH/ALA administration with necrosis level and parameters in the early period by creating an experimental mesenteric ischemia/reperfusion model in rats. Material and Method: In our experimental model, which was planned as a randomized controlled study, 24 female Wistar Albino rats were used. Rats were randomly divided into groups of 3. After anesthesia, the subjects were placed in the supine position and fixed on the operating table. The operation area was shaved and disinfected. Laparotomy was performed with vertical incision starting from the xiphoid. After the intestinal structures were retracted, the SMA was found and ligated from the place where it emerged from the aorta. After 45 minutes of ischemia, the ligation in the SMA was opened and reperfusion was achieved for 60 minutes. segment was resected. After intracardiac blood collection, the subjects were sacrificed. The 1st group was determined as the control group. Only Ischemia/Reperfusion was performed. LMWH (subcutaneous) and ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) were administered intraperitoneally 4 hours before laparotomy. The continuation of the experiment was completed in the same way as the 1st group. Histopathological examination was performed by revealing the necrosis levels under the guidance of Chiu scoring. In the biochemical examination; LDH, Phosphorus, Lactate and hemogram counts were made. Results: In this study, it was concluded that ALA can have an increasing effect on inflammation, that LMWH can act as an antioxidant as well as its anticoagulant activity and reduce the effective oxidant load in the organism, and that the combined use of LMWH and ALA has a reducing effect on the damage that may occur in the ileum. Conclusion: In this study, it was seen that the use of LMWH and ALA together could have a positive effect on ischemia parameters, oxidation parameters and necrosis level, but there was no significant difference in efficacy between the LMWH and LMWH+ALA groups. Key Words: Liver parenchyma hemorrhages, topical hemostatic agents, oxidized regenerated cellulose, fibrin tissue adhesive
