Al-Rabi' b. Habîb's theological opinions

The politics of the Kharijite's in the period when they first emerged and in the following periods caused them to be remembered with violence. This situation caused them to be excluded by the administrations and some masses of the people, and they didn't have any supporters over time. However the fact that Ibadhiyah, one of the Kharijite sects, followed a moderate policy by staying away from violence and attaching importance to scientific studies made them the only group among the Kharijite sects that continued their existence until today. The third imam of the sect, Rebîb has an important role in the formation of the principles of this party and its existance until today. Musnad, his work has an important place in understanding the religious framework of the sect. Ibadhiyah party accepts Habîb's work as the mast reliable source after the Qur'an. The fact that Habîb and Musnad are important sources in the formation of the belief principles of the Ibadhiyah party reveals the importance of recognition of both him and his work.
