The research of the mobbi̇ng status of teachers accordi̇ng to di̇fferent vari̇ables

Mobbing status the most significant problem that effects not only people who are exposed to it and people who perform it but also every individual of the society directly or indirectly in the world and our country. This problem changes the perception of all people working in the same workplace regarding to workplace bullying and increases tendency to mobbing. In this increase, the increase in the competitive environment in today's workplace and business life, jealously among employees, violence, gossip, business union avoidance, fraud, not acting to employees equally by directors in workplace and many other factors have been effective. That violence and problems related to mobbing are increasing and within that consist of employees and administrators working in organization reveals the obligatory of taking precautions immediately by organization and every individual in the society. Mobbing with its increasing effect is becoming a research subject of social sciences researcher. Although various researchers have done in the world, the workplace bullying, mobbing, is a complex problem to find a concrete solutions. This survey analyzes the level of the acts of mobbing suffered by the teachers and managers working for primary and middle school in rural areas as well as their characteristics and perpetrators. This survey was conducted by interviewing a total of 530 teachers by primary schools in center, districts and villages of Elazığ. Research consists of two parts, including quantitative and qualitative. In the quantitative part, Data about acts of mobbing experienced by those primary and middle school teachers was gathered by using a questionnaire developed by the researcher using five-point likert scale. Those data was processed in SPSS data analysis program and t-tests and variance analysis were conducted in order to determine frequencies and percentages in identify details of the teachers interviewed as well as differences in opinions expressed by the group. They were tested at .05 significance level. As a result of the survey, gender, seniority and age were identified as the variables, where the largest difference was observed between the groups in terms of acts of mobbing suffered by primary school teachers. The results obtained from those variables showed that more male teachers than female teachers, youngest or oldest teacher than the other teachers, more 1-5. seniority teachers than other teachers were confirmed to be exposed to acts of mobbing. In the qualitative part, Data about acts of mobbing experienced by those primary and middle school teachers was gathered by using an open ended question. Those data was processed in NVivo data analysis program. The results obtained from those variables showed that many of teachers stated that they suffered mobbing. Mostly, the audit and ignored were stated that the reason for mobbing. The person who showed response mobbing that use legal rights and ignored and the others use to be silent and ignored
