Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationships between romantic relationship satisfaction and basic psychological needs, mindfulness, relationship quality and attribution styles in university students were investigated within the framework of the proposed Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships Model. In addition, studies on adaptation of Basic Psychological Needs Scale in Relationships to Turkish sample were conducted. For the scale adaptation study, 105 males and 136 females total 241; a total of 1057 people, 584 females and 473 males, participated in the study to test the Satisfaction Model in Romantic Relationships. According to the results of the study, in the adaptation studies of the Basic Psychological Needs Scale in Relationships, it was concluded that the scale was a valid and reliable 7-point Likert type consisting of 3 factors and 9 items, namely autonomy, competence and relevance. According to the Satisfaction Model in Romantic Relationships test; Basic Psychological Needs predict Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships. In addition, the relationship between Basic Psychological Needs and Romantic Relationship Satisfaction; Causality-Responsibility Attribution Styles, Mindfulness and Relationship Quality are mediated. The relationship between Causality-Responsibility Attribution and Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships; Relationship Quality and Mindfulness are mediated. Mindfulness predicts Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships. In the relationship between Mindfulness and Romantic Relationship Satisfaction, Relationship Quality is mediated for the Structural Model I, and the mediator effect for the Structural Model II is not significant.
