Abstract (EN)
The Renaissance is a turning point in the history of civilization. This period, in which many philosophical, theological, political and artistic developments took place, also developed a new understanding of human being. This understanding, fed by Humanism, Hermetism and Neoplatonism, has a unique structure different from its predecessors and successors. This study aims to examine the human understanding that emerged after the synthesis of ancient wisdoms with Neoplatonism. This human being is a magus figure who has the characteristics of a philosopher, priest, artist and scientist. This understanding, which emerged as a result of the historical conditions and searches of the period, had ethical, epistemological and ontological consequences. Our study aims to examine the human design and understanding of the Renaissance by considering these results from different perspectives.
