Abstract (EN)
This thesis was planned as a descriptive study in order to examine the effect of job satisfaction on quality of life in healthcare workers. This study was conducted with employees in a public hospital. In this volunteer-based study, 384 healthcare workers were reached. A survey was used as a data collection tool in the study. By survey method, there are Individual Diagnosis Form, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and Quality of Life Scale. The data obtained in the research were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 24.0 package program. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were performed on the data obtained from the surveys through the SPSS program. The hypotheses established in the study were assumed to be normal based on the results obtained from the skewness-kurtosis analysis performed on the data obtained. According to the results obtained, the hypotheses were tested based on the Pearson correlation coefficient from correlation analysis, one of the parametric methods. In addition, regression analysis was conducted between the variables. In line with the results, it was determined that there was a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and quality of life. Other hypotheses of the research were established between demographic propositions and job satisfaction and life satisfaction. A total of 28 hypotheses were established in the research. 19 of the established hypotheses were accepted and 9 were rejected. Within the scope of the research, it is recommended to expand the population to reach larger audiences and test the results obtained.
