Because health is an important element of human capital. In addition to the individual benefits of health expenditures, social benefits are also undeniable. For this reason, the share of health expenditures in GNP is increasing every year. In order to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of these increasing expenditures, neither health science nor economics science alone is sufficient, there is a need for joint work of health and economics science.
