Efficiency analysis in health institutions management; example of mengücek gazi education and research hospital, Erzincan University

Health as a service area; directly affects the lives of individuals and societies and it is one of the most important components of the labor factor, so it directs the course of the economy from various perspectives, both indirectly and directly. All these effects make it necessary to analyze the efficiency and performance levels of hospitals which are locomotives of Health Care Delivery. In parallel with this situation, it will be useful to determine the quality of the public hospitals in our country, which use public resources, and to determine how efficiently and effectively these resources are used and the quality of the services they provide to the public. In this study, Data Enveloping Analysis was used as a method. When the sources are examined, this non-parametric analysis is preferred because it gives more effective and accurate results than the ratio analysis and the parametric methods. The aim of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of our sample, to determine the factors that lead to the effectiveness and to guide the regression of the sample.
