In our present age, knowledge and transmittence of knowledge have gained much more importance than ever. Knowledge is transmitted in written and/or spoken and mostly via support of visual effects. The relationship between the patient and health care workers is affected by very different factors. The determinants of that relationship could be either health care workers's own characteristics or patients' one. The main objectives of this study are to evaluate the relationship between the patient and doctor from the viewpoint of patient and to examine whether the patients' view about the relationship between the patient and the health care workers is affected or not by their socio-demographic characteristics. The study was conducted in a training hospital in NKU.The results show that the general impression about the health workers technical competence, patients's confidence to the health care workers, the health worker's behavioral manner, the level of information which is provided by the health worker, the language that the health worker use may depend on the patients'age, whether the patient know the health worker's name, the duration of examination, their general health conditions and the clinic that the patients are applied.
