Abstract (EN)

Statins are used to lower the cholesterol on individuals who have cardiovascular risk due to amount of high cholesterol in their blood. Besides, stopping the atherosclerosis, Statins show extra effects withal lowering cholesterol. Those are; recruitment of endothelial function, modulation of infection reaction, protection of atheroma plaque stability and stopping thrombosis nascency. The most preferred hypolipydemic drug, atorvastatin?s teratogenic effect cannot be explained clearly.During the experiment, periphery blood from 15 healthy individuals, was cytogenetically investigated in vitro conditions in the term of atorvastatin. Atorvastatin; was added into first cell cycle both of short term lymphocyte culture with frequently used 10 mg / 20 mg final concentrations and stent installed patients with 80 mg (to protect the stent) and double qty 160 mg final concentrations. Atorvastanin 160 mg dose is not used for clinical. Atorvastatin?s clastonegic effect was investigated if protects its stability by increasing the dose. Another lymphocyte culture was prepared without atorvastatin from same individuals. Atorvastatin?s 10 mg, 20 mg and 80 mg final concentrations were detected clastonegic according to experimental control. ?No Clinics Use? 160 mg atorvastatin concentration did not make remarkable fractures on chromosomes according to experimental control.
