Traditional beliefs of the Sakha (Yakut) Turks and their relations with other religions

This thesis deals with the Traditional Beliefs of the Saha (Yakut) Turks and their relations with other religions. In the thesis, the place of Sakha (Yakut) Turks between the change in their beliefs and Traditional Turkish Beliefs within the historical process is examined. Dec. This thesis consists of an introduction, three sections and a conclusion. In the first part of the thesis, traditional Saha (Yakut) beliefs, religious terms and folk beliefs were examined and the relationship between religion and social life was tried to be Deciphered. In the second part of the thesis, the religious life of the fields (Yakut), the social functions and duties of shamans /kams, health-related practices and rituals are examined. In the continuation, the beliefs and practices of the transition period, along with traditional festivals and ceremonies, as well as the traces of Traditional Turkish Religious balances in the life of Yakut have been tried to be identified. In the third part of the thesis, the relations of the fields (Yakut) with other religions are discussed. According to official records, the encounters of Yakuts, who are referred to as Christians, with Christianity and the Christian groups that continue to exist in Yakutia have been evaluated. The traces of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and other religious communities and associations in Yakutia in the geography have been investigated and dealt with.
