Abstract (EN)
Saligenin methylene chloride, which in phenol group was protected by benzyl group, was prepared from 4-tert-butylphenol. Two new saligenin compounds that side chain contains diaza crown ethers were synthesized in five steps by attaching side chains to diaza 12-CR-4 and diaza 15-CR-5 rings and followed by deprotection of benzyl group. Two new binuclear alkaline metal borocryptates were prepared by adding equivalent amount of H3BO3 and MOH to the prepared ligands. Structure of alkaline metal borocryptates were determined by IR, !H NMR, HETCOR, C NMR and elemental analysis. Crystal structure of the alkaline borocryptates were not determined due to the fact that X-Ray suitable crystals of the compounds were not obtained. Only, the crystal structure of benzyl protected saligenin which side chain is diaza 12-CR-4 was determined by X-Ray crystallography. The most important evidence for the formation of metal borocryptates is striking difference in the 'il NMR spectrum of the complex and ligand.
