Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to investigate the relationships between taxonomic diversity and taxonomic distance components of perennial plant species and environmental variables in the Sarıkaya Wildlife Development Area in the Mediterranean Region. The optimal sample area was determined as 30m*30m based on area dimensions. Research data was obtained from 60 sample areas within the study area. Environmental variables of the sample areas were obtained through base maps using DEM. Modeling of dependent variables in the study was carried out using multiple regression and regression tree methods. According to the model results obtained in the study area, the most important environmental variable affecting taxonomic diversity was Eğim, and for taxonomic distance, it was determined that the elevation variable was also important in addition to Eğim. Within the scope of relationships with environmental variables, it has been determined that taxonomic distance values are more descriptive than taxonomic diversity values.
