Abstract (EN)
In this study, the analytical solutions of the Schlömilch integral equation are investigated using the variational iteration method (VIM) and the Adomian decomposition method (AAM). For this purpose, Variational iteration method (VIM) and Adomian decomposition method (AAM) are explained with examples and then applied on various types of Schlömilch integral equations. The results obtained as a result of these methods are evaluated and it is seen that AAM converges to the solution faster than VIM. Finally, an evaluation of the effectiveness of these methods on the solutions of such integral equations is made.
