Abstract (EN)
Elections, ıt has been an invariable part of life and democracy until today. These concepts and processes, which have developed with democracy, have allowed social life to change and develop. Social dynamics, leaders and political structures have constantly changed this process and supported it with new concepts. The biggest element in the formation of political life and the emergence of the election process has been human. People have taken the first steps to determine their own life dynamics and changes with their own free will, through the selection process. The main purpose of this study; It is to reveal the effects of elections on people, to provide a spatial perspective on the political view and election perception of the society, to explain the main effects in the voting process and some processes that prepare the ground for it. Another aim of this study is; Another aim is to reveal the election perceptions of the people living in this region and geography, as well as the political views of the people here and the geographical factors that are effective in the voting processes, based on the province of Karaman, its districts and their villages. In the research; Votes received by political parties and leaders in all elections between 2014-2019 in Karaman province, its district and neighborhoods were calculated, these calculations were transferred to maps on the basis of provinces, districts and neighborhoods. In order to reveal the main reasons, all physical and human factors in the region were examined. As a result of the study and the findings obtained, as a result of the evaluation of the elections made between 2014-2019. The geographical region, socio-cultural life, education and development level of the people directly affect this process, prepare the ground for the elections to be held in the future, the physical elements and human structure in the region constitute the main structure in the elections, the image of the political party and the candidate image are very important on the voters, It has been revealed that there are differences in votes between the general elections and the parliamentary elections.
