Abstract (EN)

In this study, in addition to pilates exercises applied to sedentary women, zumba and functional trainings; Whether it has an effect on anthropometric and motoric properties such as height, body weight, body mass index, body fat ratio and lean body mass, circumference measurements, subcutaneous fat thickness, flexibility, strength, jump, aerobic endurance, whether there is a difference between them, if there is any difference. level was examined. Zumba + pilates 15 functional + pilates 11 total 26 women voluntarily participated in the study, whose average age is between 20-55 years. Before starting the study in both of the subject groups, the subjects' height and body weight, body mass index, body fat ratio and lean body mass, circumference measurements, subcutaneous fat thickness (DWT) measurements, sit and reach (reach), sit-up, vertical jump. , plank, 3 Minute Step test parameters were applied and the tests were repeated at the end of 2 days of exercises for 8 weeks. Obtained data were transferred to electronic environment and given as mean and standard deviation. The shapiro wilk test was applied with the skewness and kurtosis values of the distribution of the data, and the Repeated Measure Anova test, which is one of the parametric tests, was applied with the normal distribution. The significance level of the data was determined as p<0.05. Data analysis was done in SPSS 24.0 package program. According to the analyzes made; Statistically significant differences were found in body weight and body fat ratio parameters between the pre- and post-tests within the group. This situation creates the opinion that the applied training program contributes positively to the body analysis parameters. When the motoric features are examined, it is seen that there is an improvement in all parameters. Considering the contribution of pilates exercises to core areas, it can be said that the efficiency level increases when it is supported with cardio exercises. The fact that there is no difference between Zumba and functional exercises can be expressed as contributing to the participants at a similar level. Considering the environmental measurements, it is seen that the exercise program applied causes positive development especially in the core areas. When the body structures of women are evaluated, it can be stated that the core regions undergo more significant physical deformation due to their morphological characteristics, and the types of exercises applied to this region have a more serious effect. It is observed that there is an improvement in the parameters of subcutaneous fold thickness in the regions specified in the circumference measurements. In the study, it can be said that cardio exercises applied to sedentary women and modified pilates exercises have a positive physical and physiological effect.
