Abstract (EN)

Tetranychus urticae Koch is one of the major pests that cause economic losses in pepper production. In the production of pepper, it is fed on the plant and causes loss of yield and quality in the plant. Within the scope of the integrated pest management, Phytoseiidae family members are generally used for the control of these pests. Phytoseiulus persimilis Athias-Henriot is the most preferred predatory mite to control spider mites in greenhouse then Neoseiulus californicus (McGregor). Phytoseiulus persimilis is highly preferred because it is a spesific predator and is fed only on species of the genus Tetranychus. In this thesis, the use and efficacy of Bifenazate (Bif) and Phytoseiulus persimilis (PP) in the control of Tetranychus urticae on pepper in greenhouse conditions were determined. For this purpose, four-character experiment including Bif, PP, Bif + PP and control was established according to completely randomized design in the greenhouse. T. urticae populations were successfully supressed according to the control in all applications.
