The place of installation with ceramic materials in ceramic art and personal applications

The concept of installation is a concept of art that is combined with the audience participation of the art object created using the qualities of the space against traditional art works. In the 20th century, Marcel Duchamp's ready-made objects with a conceptual language and the installation, installation, arrangement, assembly, which is described as the art that goes back to Kurt Schwitters' collages. The idea of creating this art object in the 1960s, the adoption of museums and gallery spaces since the 1980s, and the way of exhibiting the concepts of collage and environment in the United States and Europe, using materials fed from different art disciplines, remain in the understanding of contemporary art. The problem of creating space in the historical process has been seen in the art of ceramics as well as art branches such as painting and sculpture. In the 1970s, the need for special spaces of ceramic art, and the use of different materials, new space productions allowed artists from other disciplines to use ceramic materials. In this research, the concept of installation is explained with the thoughts of writers and critics. The purpose of the relationship between space, object and audience is determined and its place in the historical process is investigated. It is aimed to present art as a new suggestion to the space by giving examples of space arrangement by artists who prefer ceramic materials.
