Alternative kilns and prictical of a kiln

According to knowledge in line archeological studies ongoing now, ceramic is known to exist in human-being life from app. B.C. 30 thousand to today. Ceramic which has used as use goods like mugs, pots, religious or decorative figures in the comminity had begun the resident life in Neolithic Era, after development of ceramic art and ceramic endustry, has taken its place in art and endustry field. Firing process one of the ceramic production phase has passed through on several researching and experiential studies. Depending on geopraphic location living in and its circumstance, several firing technics and materials has been experimenced. The aim of this study is; to give fundemental informations about ceramic metarial, ceramic production process and but ceramic kilns also ceramics history, to examplify the alternative kilns that made on this history, to exhibit a sculpture kiln practice. With this aim, the knowledge about ceramic and firing history has been researched, the knowledges about the alternative kilns made before, these kilns process and artists has been informed. And this study has ended on prictial experiment with a sculpture kiln practice which is one of the alternative kilns.
