Sayyidi's Akâid-nâme called Shifa al-Kulub (Criticized text-index)

Literatüre, which contains a rich cultural material, is an oral or written activity in which nations reflect their material and spiritual cultures, beliefs and thoughts. In Turkish literatüre, it is possible to come across works written in verse or prose in order to provide information in historical, religious, philosophical and moral fıelds, as well as literary texts written by poets for artistic and aesthetic purposes. It is an undeniable fact that among these works, moral books, whose relationship with our cultural history cannot be ignored, have a large literatüre. The work named "Shifa al-Kulub", written by Sayyidi, one of the 17th century authors, is an important work on this subject. It is observed that Sayyidi divided this prose work into 122 chapters, mostly prose, but occasionally included verse in his work. "Shifa al-Kulub" is an creed-nâme that gives information about the creed and moral issues that a Müslim should know in terms of content. Sayyidi built his works as a reaction against the basic belief system and religious knowledge among the people, as well as the institutions in the military, political and social fıelds that started to deteriorate in the 17th century. Sayyidi, who had previously translated one of Imam-ı Azam Abu Hanîfe's Fiqh-ı Ekber, one of the works of qaidnâme, with the name Manzûme-i Akâid, expressed the same issues in prose in his work called "Shifa al-Kulub" and wrote about his previous poems. He did not neglect to include it in his work. In fact, in the parts where the same subjects are handled between the two works, Sayyidi directs the readers to the mentioned work with the phrase "The main application is the one who wants to be mentioned in our detailed poem" after quoting a few couplets from his work Manzûme-i Akâid. In addition, apart from this source work, he applied to basic works such as Ömer en-Nesefî's Akâid, Birgivî's Tarikat al-Muhammediyye and al-Avâmil, and in some places he named other sources in the work. Considering the number of copies of the work, of which there are 26 copies that we can identify in libraries at home and abroad, it can be said that it attracted a lot of attention in its time and was constantly reproduced by copyists. In the introduction part of the thesis, which consists of an introduction and four sections, fırst of ali, the defınition of the type of akâidnâme is given and information about the akâidnâmes written in Turkish, Arabic and Persian Literatüre is given, and the place of the work called Shifa al-Kulûb among these İslam beliefs has been determined. In the fırst part, the life and works of Sayyidi, the author of the work called Shifa al-Kulûb, were examined and his historical personality was revealed based on primary and secondary sources. In the second part, the historical process of the religious strife of Kadızâdeliler-Sivasîs, which left its mark on the XVII century, was analyzed from the available sources, and the general framework of the subject was summarized and the creed views of the Kadızadeliler were declared. In the third chapter, the content of the work is examined in terms of language-style features and religion and explained with quotations from the text. In the fourth chapter, ali the copies we have identifıed have been described and introduced, and a genealogy has been obtained by making evaluations between the copies. In addition, the method followed for the establishment of the critical text is given and the transcripted text, which we examined according to the critical text publication method, is given. In order to facilitate our work, proper names and a directory of works have been prepared.
