Abstract (EN)
This thesis study were prepared for bringing an explanation to effects of postcolonial economic collapses on internal conflicts: Somalia case, through theoretical approaches. For this, Third World, colonialism, internal conflict, economy and war studies literatures were scanned and main lines of the study was created by using findings. That economic collapses consisted after colonialism triggered internal conflicts, and in the end of together with encountered internal conflicts, state failure and anstability lived throught economic collapses constitute research question of the study. For thousands of years, states in different geography conflicted with different reasons, even wars were made. Interrogeed subject in this study is which factors cause to internal conflicts. While answering such questions, why do internal conflicts occur? what do causes trigger internal conflicts?, besides other factors, in colonised societies internal conflicts were tried to explain emhatically the assumtion is that economic abortiveness and economic collapse cause internal conflicts. Taking into account the causes that reveal internal conflicts; factors like size of land, economic and social structure, borrowing and foreign aids, colonialism, system of government, failed state, instability, terror, internal unrest are increasable. Therefore, there are lots of factors impacting internal conflicts. But, in this study, that internal conflicts with economic collapses improve parallel to each other were emphasized by analysing economic structure which is one of the reason for occuring internal conflicts. With this thesis study were approached the interventions of the great powers, internal conflicts, widespread poverty and major facts characterizing the region from the 1960s to the end of the 1990s. Somalia lands factor of split structure in the colonial period and this factors emergence of internal conflicts with economic collapse, prepared on the purpose of to express evaluating in the light of international relations theory approaches and Marxism- Capitalism, were tried to explain problems of Third World countries over instance of Somalia. In this study, that economic collapse in Somalia after colonialism triggered internal conflicts and in the end of occuring internal conflicts revealing failed state and insability economic collapses lived thought were uncovered.
