The effect of cooperative learning activities which take the base critical thinking ability to academic success in social science lesson

The title of this thesis is ?The effect of cooperative learning activities, which take the base critical thinking ability, to academic success in Social Science.? The aim of writing this thesis is to designate the effect?s level of teaching social studies to the increasing students? succsess and improving the level of keeping in mind in teaching social studies of primary education class 4.And this teaching social studies is used with students? success departments? technique which is one of the cooperative learning techniques and it takes base the ability of critical thinking.The research was planned in the fronttess-lasttest control groups modal.The experimen and control groups was formed from the results of front works,which were made in the four primary- education school which are locatedd the district called Malkara of the province called Tekirdağ.And Malkara 75th Year Primary-education School?s 4/A and 4/B classes were chosen.These groups were formed by providing the equality.Students?team succsess part technique is being used with the education of critical thinking ability in experiment group,on the other hand in control group the social science teaching in traditional way is being used.In the research Ability of Critical Thinking,Meeting Form,Research Diary,Success Test were used.So the discoveries which were provided as quantiative,also were controled and supported qualitively.SPSS pocket programme was benifited statsitic analyzing about research. Avarage points of groups and standart deviates of point dispersing were calculated in comparasions of inner group or between groups,t-test was benefited and 0.5 respect level was to designate as understanding level.After analyzing, those finding were taken:It was seen a meaningfull difference in favor of between the keeping mind level of students who were in control group in which it was used traditional teaching and the keeping mind level of students who were in experiment group in which it was used the techniques took base critical thinking ability.It was seen that a meaningfull difference in favor of experiment group between student? acedemic succsess in experiment group applied teaching technique yook based critical thinking and acedemic students? success in control group applied tradititonal teaching.
