Processing of criminal crime with social media

The study will examine the meaning of insult word and insult crime in Turkish Criminal Law, what will be covered in the scope of insult and how to draw the limits of the insult. In addition, the study will investigate the legislative imposed on the insulting person by the legislator, the historical development of the defamation offence and the Criminal Code no. 765 and the crime of defamation within the legal systems of the Turkish Criminal Law No. 5237. The purpose and importance of this study are widely used today the Internet communication tool and correspondingly problems which could be faced because of the using social media incorrectly. For these problems, the penal sanctions imposed by the Turkish Penal Code the protection for the values such as honour and dignity in the face of the society and the effectiveness of the punishment system will be examined.
