Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this research, it was aimed to determine the relationship between stress coping strategies and psychological resilience levels of sports science students studying in Ankara. In the research in the relational scanning model, Assoc. Dr. The Strategies for Coping with Stress Scale (Revised) developed by K B. Aydın and the Brief Psychological Resilience Scale developed by B W. Smith and adapted into Turkish by T. Doğan: 135 women who are studying at Sports Sciences Faculties in Ankara and participated in this research voluntarily, It was administered to a total of 302 students, including 167 males. Considering the distribution of the data in the analysis of the data, independent groups t-test or MannWhitney-U test was used in pairwise group comparisons, and one-way analysis of variance (Anova) was used for comparing more than two groups. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson Correlation. When needed, Tukey post-hoc test was used in binary group comparisons and pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between variables. P <0.05 was taken into account as the significance level in the analyzes. As a result of the research, it was observed that the students were exposed to different stress sources. Strategies for coping with stress have been found to positively affect resilience levels. Suggestions are included for students to cope with stress.
