Abstract (EN)

Postmodernism is a complex labyrinth of twisty roads. Fort this reason, understanding the world of thought of postmodernism is just as difficult. The interaction of literature, which takes place in this newly formed world pf thought, with postmodernism is mostly seen in the novel type. Nothingness and emptinessdominate the basis of the postmodern novel. The postmodern novel genre directly affects the intellectual orientation of individuals. Postmodern writer; he wants to deform the old patterns, establish new patterns and build a new work on top of the old work. Ultimately, the purpose of the author in such narratives is to create a fictional world by turning to the subconscious of the reader and to play with the perception of the reader. Süreyyya Evren is one of the writers who came under the influence of postmodernism in Turkish literature. Evren has been included in the aesthetics of postmoderm novels by deforming the structure of her novels with the language games she uses. The author followed the characters of the novel like a shadow and imprisoned them in their inner world instead of glorifying them. The novel world of Evren in general has often played the unknown in terms of time, space, perspective and narrator in a chaoticplane, in a fragmented plot. Ten novels of Evren, which were examined from a postmodern perspective, aimed to reveal the author's process in the literary world chronologically.
