Abstract (EN)

Aim of this study was shown to similarities and differencies between elite young athletes participated regularly training. It was investigated with respect to some variables that submissive behaviour of athletes participated in young category of team sports in Turkey. It was investigated that differencies between submissive behaviour and sport branch, gender, economic level of families, education level of mother and father, profession of mother and father variables. Universe of research was choosed in individual who challenged in volleyball (n:38), basketball (n:53), hockey (n:65), football (n:47) players in Turkey young categories. In order to obtain data, submissive behavior scale that was developed by Gilbert and Allan (1994), and was adjusted in Turkish language and was conducted reliability and validity by Savaşır and Şahin (1997) was used. In order to statistical analiysis of obtained data, SPSS 16.0 program was used. For binary groups Independent Samples T Test and for multiple groups One Way ANOVA and Scheffe tests was used. Significance was found between female and male (p<0.01); and was found between 16-17 age and 18-19 age groups (p<0.01); was found between volleyball and hockey (p<0.01), baskeyball and hockey (p<0.01), football and hockey (p<0.05). As a result, it is said that have lower submissive features men compared to women, 18-19 age group compared to 16-17 age group and hockey players compared to other sport players.
