An empirical research on the firms of the Çukurova region to understand their human resources management view, aim and function from the historical perspective

After different development phases, it is understood by the nowadays business runners, that to effectively and efficiently usage of the human resource is only possible by the acceptance of significance of the human resources management. Existed management philosophy is far away from classic management approach which accept human as only a production input. It is understood that as a lively part of the business, employees are required to be healthy and good to realize aimed successful businesses.The development stages of the human resource management are discussed by the literature review. In the first part, as a history of human resources management personnel management is investigated. In the second part dynamics, those bring personnel management to human resource management are defined and discussed. In the last theoretic part of the study, human resource management is deeply investigated. After the literature review, it is aimed that to understand the map of the Cukurova region human resource management by the human resource experts and managers. So the research of this study is explorative and descriptive. The result of the study shows that human resource experts are mostly female, young and well educated. The result of the study shows that, human resource functions are vary from business to business either financial crisis or budget and not institutionalized yet.
