The importance of Sheikh Shaban-i Veli in sufi culture and his contribution to Kastamonu faith touri̇sm

The place, importance and value of tourism in countries' economies are increasing. As a result of the increase in the interest of the people to other tourism types other than coastal tourism, the countries have enabled the diversity of tourism in itself. The importance of Sheikh Şaban-ı Veli in Sufism Culture and the graduate thesis on Kastamonu Faith Tourism aim to determine the values and value of faith tourism which can make significant contributions to the tourism of the country. It also aims to make recommendations and findings of Kastamonu about how to use those cultural values. In order to reveal the conceptual foundations on which the research is based on, a literature review has been made on sufism and faith tourism. Then, the place, importance and importance of Sheikh Şaban-ı Veli in sufism and his contribution to faith tourism in Kastamonu has been mentioned. In addition, a survey has been used as a data collection tool in order to determine the perspectives of local and foreign people and visitors in Kastamonu city center.
