Abstract (EN)

Evaporative systems are air conditioning systems which are used in dry climate and low humidity . It is an environmentally friendly air conditioning system for any harm to the environment. In this city , efficiency analysis of a portable evaporative cooler has been made according to different methods and parameters . The experiments were conducted in May-June under climate change in Uşak. Dry thermometer temperature and relative humidity values were measured at the inlet and outlet of the evaporative cooler and the humidifier efficiency was calculated fort he evaporative cooler. In addition , the inlet and outlet conditions of the portable evaporative cooler are shown on the psychometric diagram. Since Uşak has a dry climate , the dry temperature is high and relative humidity is low. The effect of outdoor relative humidity and dry thermometer temperature, dry thermometer temperature at the cooler outlet and indoor relative humiditiy difference on energy, exergy efficiency were investigate. It has been found that the evaporative cooler reduce the indoor dry thermometer temparature by an average of 6 ºC. It was found that evaporative cooling sufficient to provide comfort conditions in the hot and dry climate butler and could contibute positively to the energy problem with low energy consmption.
