Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in order to examine the results of the 5-year planting success of 2 + 0 bare rooted and 2 + 0 containerized black pine seedlings (Pinus nigra Arnold. subsp. pallasiana) planted on a similar soil within Tavşanlı-Kütahya Forest Enterprise. For this purpose, 3 samples were taken from each of the bare-rooted and containerized planting areas for each treatment. The height growth of the seedlings, root collar diameter and last-year seedling height growths were measured for both sample areas. Seedling survivals after planting in the field were determined by the forest enterprise. In addition, soil samples were taken in each sample area of 0-20 and 20-50 cm soil depths and were analyzed. According to the results of the analysis of variance, containerized seedling height growth (162.19 cm), root collar diameter (4.21 cm) and last year shoot growth (41.81 cm) were found statistically significant (P≤0.05) from bare rooted planted seedlings height growth (131.61 cm), root collar diameter (3.68 cm) in the field were also higher in d last year shoot growth (34.88 cm). The survival rates after plantation in the field was determined lower for bare rooted seedlings as 80% and was found as 95% for the containerized seedlings.
