Naim Giridî's "New Tajwîd for Children" in terms of tajwid sciencee

This study is the evaluation of Naim Giridi's "New Tajwîd for Children", which is thought to have been taught in primary schools, which is one of the Ottoman educational institutions, in terms of tajwid science. The writer Naim Efendi, whose life we unfortunately have almost no information about, was an Ottoman officer and was serving as a captain in the army when he was writing the book of tajwid in 1911. Naim Efendi wrote his work, as the name suggests, with the aim of enabling children to learn tajwid easily according to their needs. In the work, which starts with the definition of tajwid, all the subjects of tajwid are given enough space by taking the Hafs narration of Asim's qiraat with examples, except for one or two subjects that are covered superficially. The work, which has a plain language that is easily understood; Before moving on to the main topics, it includes some tajwid rules as preliminary information, contains a small dictionary containing some basic tajwid concepts, gives some information about the writing of the mushaf, has a different order in the arrangement of the topics, the topics that it tells with the question-answer method, and a few though it differs from its counterparts in details such as presenting it in the form of dialogue from time to time. It must be one of the features we have mentioned, that the work was given the name "New Tajwîd for Children". Although it usually has a simple and easily understandable content, it is rarely seen that it contains issues that contradict the principle of convenience. In the introduction part of our study, which consists of an introduction and two parts, the importance, subject, purpose, sources and method of the study; in the first part, the author's life, works and the examination of the work in question in terms of the science of tajwid; In the second part, the transcription of the work will be given.
