The method of receiving tafsir texts to children "Specific to Hazrat Ibrahim"

From the very beginning of his life, man has been in a position to interact with the Qur'an. This interaction has brought with it a number of responsibilities. Perhaps the most important of these is to understand and try to comprehend the message revealed to him in accordance with the moment of his life. It is not a healthy attitude to keep an individual away from revelation because he is a child. It is evident that this acquaintance and bonding should be achieved through the utilisation of appropriate methodologies and techniques. In this study, we have compiled the opinions of experts in the field on the necessity and nature of giving tafsir texts to children. The first part of our thesis, which consists of three chapters, addresses key topics related to the subject, including concepts, children with their cognitive and mental developmental stages, and Islamic children's literature. In the second part of the study, we sought to evaluate the relationship between children and the Qur'an, the current translation and tafsir passages, and children's works. In the third and final part of the study, we identified the verses related to Prophet Abraham and prepared a sample tafsir text in the chronological plane, whose addressees were children between the ages of 10 and 13. It is our hope that this study will serve to raise awareness in this field and to shed light on other studies. KEY WORDS: Tafsir, Qur'an, Education, Children, Prophet Abraham
