Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate whether the Technology Acceptance Model Scale is a valid and reliable instrument in Turkish. Materials and Method: This methodological study, was carried out between March 2019 and August 2019 in a university hospital. Sample was consisted of 253 nurses who accepted to participate in the study. The data were collected with the Technology Acceptance Model Scale. Language validty, content validty and construct validity were used in evaluation of validity of research data and internal consistency and test-retest analysis were used in evaluation of reliabity of data. Findings: Technology Acceptance Model Scale was translated into Turkish for language validity and back-translated. The scope validity was obtained from 14 experts and it was found that the content validity index values ranged from 0.80–1.00. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to ensure construct validity. According to the obtained values RMSEA 0.068; NFI 0.91; CFI 0.949; χ2 / df is 2.176. In the test-retest analysis conducted at two-week intervals to assess the invariance of the scale over time, a significant correlation was observed according to the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient (r:0.926). Conclusion: Technology Acceptance Model Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool for use in Turkish society. Keywords; Informatics, electronic health record, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, validity, reliability
