Violence in television series representation: Example of i women "Series

Violence remains an important fact among people today. This behavior is an unethical practice that affects people. People are violent to each other both physically and spiritually. This type of behavior is still common in television series which is still an effective communication tool. In this study, elements of violence in Turkish television series are discussed in the example of "Kadın-Woman" television series. Qualitative content analysis evaluated how violence is produced, reflected and applied in this series. In the Kadın's Television series, it was seen that there was a structure where elements of violence were gathered together and these elements were presented as audio-visual. In the series, violence is produced both symbolically and actually and it is evaluated that violence against women is applied. Keywords:Violence, FemaleGender, Television Series, ViolenceElements,
