Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of CuO nanoparticle added 0.001% by weight in the thermosyphon type heat pipe for chloroform (CHCl3) working fluid water heating was investigated experimentally. Experiments for 3 different flow rates as 10 lt / h, 20 lt / h and 30 lt / h cooling water flow rate and 6 different heater power, 200 W, 300 W, 400 W, 500 W, 800 W and 1000 W heater power it is made. CuO nano particles increased energy and exergy efficiency for 800 W heater power at 10 l / h cooling water flow rate, while increasing energy efficiency for 500 W heater power at 500 W, 800 W and 1000 W heater power at 20 l / h cooling water flow rate. CuO nanoparticles increased energy efficiency at 400 W, 500 W and 1000 W heater power at 30 l / h cooling water flow, while reducing exergy efficiency at all heater powers.
