Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the historical background of the Wahhabism movement, which had emerged in the mid-18th century and which is still active, the reasons of its emerging, the life of its founder Mohammad b. Abdulwahhab, his works and views. First of all we decide to discuss Mohammad b. Abdulwahhab's life and views, after that to examine geographical, socio-cultural, economic, political and religious structure of the Nacid region and of course its surroundings.
