Evaluation of physical and functional use of Tillo traditional houses

People have shaped their traditional homes as a result of the "situation definition" that they socially determined by interpreting their characters, cultures, beliefs, memories, values and past experiences with the physical environmental conditions in which they live. Traditional houses express a certain process and become the product of their social structure. Therefore, individual and perceptual changes in the social structure can physically transform traditional houses over time. In this case, the main thing is to preserve the traditional houses inherited from the old generation by the new generation. In this context; It was examined with a detailed analysis study (questionnaire, drawing, painting, etc.) conducted with ten traditional home users in the Fakirullah District of Tillo, which was chosen as the study area. In the content of the thesis, the physical and functional changes that traditional Tillo houses have undergone in their current use and the changes that occur in the social structure of the users are discussed as the main subject. In addition, general definitions for Tillo district, explanations for introducing the architectural features of traditional houses, evaluations, results and suggestions for changes in social structure and physical structure are included in the study.
