Abstract (EN)

Economic growth in developed countries is largely driven by improving the efficiency factor. In our country, it is known that the efficiency level of SMEs is very low compared to large enterprises. Budget and cost are important problems in increasing the productivity of SMEs. Therefore, SMEs expect production efficiency and equipment maintenance methodologies to be budget and cost oriented. In the production facilities of the enterprises, the aging of the machines over time and changing customer demands cause a bottleneck in production. This reduces the productivity of the facility over time. For this reason, equipment maintenance and improvement activities should be designed in accordance with faster production of customer orders. It should also be budget and cost oriented. In this study, ways of preventing bottleneck in production and doing it easily without exceeding maintenance budget have been investigated. A technique is proposed to determine the maintenance and improvement budget within the scope of the purpose, constraint and condition stated below. The purpose is to increase production by delivering orders earlier and the constraint is that the resource allocated for maintenance and improvement is not sufficient for all machines. Condition is to enable the return of the budget in the short term. With the implementation of the maintenance and improvement budget, the optimum budget required for critical equipment has been determined. Return of the improvement budget to the enterprise will have be in a short period of one year.
