The field of application of collective agreement

The Act of Trade Unions and Collective Agreement numbered 6356 was publis-hed in the Official Gazette numbered 28460 on 7 November 2012 and has came into force. Thus, the Act of Trade Unions numbered 2821 which organized rights about trade unions and the Act of Collective Agreement, Strike and Lockout numbered 2822 which organized rights about collective agreement, strike and lockout have been integrated. With this integration, various changes have occured in the field of application of collective agreements which are one of the most important elements of collective labour law. Because of this, a need has appeared about examination of these changes. With this target in our thesis, the field of application of collective agreement about individuals, location and time has been examined through comparing old and new law texts, benefitting from the opinions of the doctrine and Supreme Court verdicts and changes which occured with the Act numbered 6356 have been evaluated.
