Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this master thesis, mycorrhizal colonization rates of T. aestivum and T. borchii species were investigated in Quercus robur L. and Quercus coccifera L. seedlings, which have an important distribution area in our country. For this purpose, oak seeds collected from natural oak fields were inoculated with ascospore grafting technique and incubated during a vegetation period in a sterile greenhouse located in Denizli Forest Nursery Directorate. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the rate of T. aestivum infected roots (PT) was 0.55 for Q. robur, 0.41 for Q. coccifera, and the rate of T. borchii infected roots was 0.52 for Q. robur and 0.48 for Q. coccifera. According to the results, Q. robur is the oak species with the highest mycorrhizal growth rate for both ectomycorrhizal fungi species.
