Abstract (EN)

It?s of vital importance that human factors having the biggest benefit on attaining organizational aim have the necessary skills to cope with stress factors encountered in organization. Burnout sense is a period which emerges as a result of these stress factors, sneaks quietly and reduces the effectiveness and loyalty of employees. The employees and organizations have to find ways to get through the burnout in this period that moves sneakily and quietly. It is very important for the organizations to know the reasons of why the burnout have emerged, its symptoms and to be able to apply the coping methods. No sooner have the burnout been prevented than both the level of organizational loyalty will increase and the organization?s being able to achieve its goal will be easier.In this context, it?s essential that the effects of burnout on organizational loyalty are determined. It?s the purpose of this study that the level of burnout of employees of a public hospital in Eskişehir is identified and the effects of this level on organizational loyalty are assessed with respect to demographic features. Following the research, it has been come into the light that although it?s little, the burnout has a negative effect on organizational loyalty.Key Words: Burnout, Burnout Syndrome, Organization, Organizational Loyalty
