Abstract (EN)
Environmental problems are increasing with each passing day. Environmental problems such as global warming, population growth, climate change and the reduction of natural resources threatening the life of the world has revealed the importance of protecting the natural balance. Consumption which barriers to sustainable life, on the one hand people remove themselves and drag themselves to unhappiness, it also endangers the natural balance, has become a behavior that is causing environmental problems. The purpose of this study; we reveal ?voluntary simplicity movement? as a sustainable living behavior. This movement sets against the people?s hegemonic behaviors on environment and the culture of consumption which created new needs every day, as well as it includes eliminating of life?s excesses, the consumpting with carried out according to needs and surrounded by nature. Implementation has been done on teachers.
