The Turkish banking system corporate governance process: An application instance in İstanbul Stock Exchange

Justification of thesis work; in the financial sector, corporate governance and the banking sector, which is a very important place to highlight the importance of the process. In this study, primarily dealt with the Bank and banking concepts, the process of corporate governance in the later sections, and the applicability of the banking sector. The aim of the study; stocks traded on the stock exchange in İstanbul, however, the corporate governance in banks, how to identify the process. To do this, banks traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange only ten banks in asset size is handled with the highest These banks, according to the corporate governance principles of CMB (Capital Markets Board) individually examined and evaluated. Within the scope of the study examined these ten Bank: Job Bank, the agricultural Bank, the people's Bank, Akbank, Finansbank, Garanti Bank, Yapi Kredi Bank, Denizbank, Vakıfbank and Turkish economy Bank (TEB).
