The effect of multimedia design principles on students' achievement in Turkish language and literature large group course

With the rapid change of computers and the internet, today's technologies are actively developing and changing direction. The field of education has difficulty in keeping up with this technology. The level of development of education in a country shows the level of development of that country. For this purpose, a research suitable for experimental design was conducted in order to ensure the efficient and effective development of educational technologies. In the research, educational videos prepared by considering multimedia designs were included. The multimedia principles whose effect on achievement was investigated in the research are the picture principle, the subtitle principle, and the principle of attracting attention. The reason for choosing these multimedia principles is that they are frequently used in the videos used as educational materials. For the implementation of the study, video designs that can be used as an alternative to the lecture video were prepared. This research is planned to observe the effect of multimedia design principles on achievement. Thus, it is thought to contribute to education.
