Thi̇s i̇s study related to exi̇stance of vocabulary whi̇ch takes place i̇n the acti̇vi̇ti̇es of course books i̇n turki̇sh lesson at elemantary school

Course books are the most important equipments to reach the aims which are determined in the teaching process. Because of this, it is required that course books must be convenient for the aims and outcomes of the lesson and must have enough qualities. Turkish books are basic application source for both a teacher and a student which are supposed to be prepared with this aim. In Turkish education, course books have decisive importance on language skills and mental skills. In interpersonal communication the vocabulary which a person has obtained before effects his/her understanding and narrative skill directly. The existance of vocabulary which takes place in the course books is the most fundamental subject of this skill and the existance of vocabulary in course books is our basic subject for this work. From this point of view, the existance of vocabulary and phrases of 6th, 7th and 8th grades student course book activities were analyzed and evaluated if these elements are convenient for the student's level.
