The analysis of illustrations in children's book that is published for 3-6 ages in Turkey between 2000-2021 years

Illustration; They are illustrations made for the purpose of explaining a message to be conveyed, by describing the subject, event or situation to be told. Illustrastions are important elements that make up an intercultural common language that provides convenience in people's lives, which helps to easily perceive and comprehend what is being said. It is possible to come across illustrations in every field in daily life. One of these areas is children's books. In illustrations in children's boks, they are the main guiding elements for children. Illustrations are very beneficial especially for children aged 3-6, who are not yet able to read and write. The aim of the study is about the children's books for the 3-6 age group; The aim of this study is to find answers to the questions of how the content should be, what should be considered when choosing a book, how the illustrations should be, and whether the illustrations are made in accordance with the age of the target audience. Within the scope of the study, firstly, the literature was searched and the books whose illustrations were to be analyzed were determined. For this research, in-depth interviews were conducted with parents, kindergarten teachers, illustrators and pedagogues who have children in this age group in order to benefit from the opinions of those who are interested in children's books fort he 3-6 age group, which were determined as a result of the researches and in-depth interviews.
