Abstract (EN)
The aim of the research is to determine how the students' attention is drawn in project-based science teaching practices, how the teacher guides, how student-centeredness is provided, in which areas the researched project studies were carried out between 2006-2021 in Turkey. As a data collection method, document analysis was carried out and a total of 53 studies, consisting of 11 articles, 38 master's and 5 doctoral studies, which were allowed to be published from YÖK National Thesis Center and internet search engines, were included in the study. Since the research is a qualitative research, content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. The codes were given while the studies were examined in the research, and the data obtained as a result of the coding were shown in tables and graphics with frequency and percentage calculations. As a result of the research, in project-based science applications, it has been concluded that student attention is mostly drawn with brainstorming, case studies and discussion methods, teachers guide students by providing feedbacks the most, student-centeredness is provided with question and answer technique the most, projects are carried out in the field of physics the most, the products mostly belong to construction or machinery projects, the most research was published in 2008, and the studies were conducted between 2007 and 2013 the most, quantitative research was generally carried out in the studies, the sample size was maximum between 0-50 people and the studies were carried out in the field of secondary school level physics. In the light of the data obtained, understanding the project-based science teaching practices in the Turkish literature may be beneficial for new project-based science practices to be developed. In this context, it is thought that it will contribute to science teachers who perform project-based science education, to increase the efficiency of the process and to develop new project applications.
