Swimming coaches evaluationo club executives in terms of management and leadership styles

Today, the sport of swimming is increasing with each passing popularity. However, swimming clubs, coaches and swimming training process has gained importance. Therefore, it is thought to be important contributions to the field of the work to be done as regards the management and managers of swimming club. The aim of this study is to is to examine relationships between leadership style is percevied by the coach of the swimming club manager and in terms of specific variables change management (gender, seniority, age, marital status, age and marital status, professional experience, coaching level, coaching certification, the manager's profession / age range). It has also investigated whether any relationship between leadership styles and change management perceived the swimming club manager. These relationships were examined in what way and in what level. This research is a qualitative study. This study was carried out in 2015-2016 academic year with 100 swimming coach. These coaches are still working in different regions of Turkey. Participants have different seniority and professional experience. The study consists of three different data sets. Part 1 includes demographic information. In Part 2 is located Change Management and part 3 covers the Department of Leadership Behavior Locator Scale. Data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The study utilized of the material analysis, independent t-test, One-Way ANOVA and correlation analysis. It is determined based on the finding of the study according to the swimming coaches possess significant variables for specific variables management (gender, seniority, age, marital status, age and marital status, professional experience, coaching level, coaching certification, the manager's profession/age range). terms of change management and leadership styles of the club manager.
