Abstract (EN)
The human is constantly interacting with his enviroment so the existence of human develops nature. A human who keeps pace with nature transfers all kinds of experiences in life to tradition. It ensures the sustainability of tradition. This sustainability is the source of museums which are places where traditions are preserved. Therefore, museums will be the "real cultural space" of individuals who are the "nomads of the digital era". Nowadays tradition is being rediscovered by the nomads of the digital era in museums. Thus, the structure, the context, the collections, the method of exhibition/display and the way of experiencing museums are changing. Individuals of the digital era need to experience a tradition instead of visiting a tradition preserved in museums. "Living museums" where tradition is experienced it is a non-profit, permanent institution where individuals in modern society can share knowledge. It will based on structural differences of living museums in Turkey and South Korea for the sustainability of this tradition. Structural suggestions will be made for the sustainability of living museum in Turkey.
